Mr. Schweitzer is Chairman of the Columbia College Alumni Association (July 2010 – present) and serves on the Board of Governors for the Columbia Club of New York (May 2016 — present).

Mr. Schweitzer was previously a member of New York Public Radio’s community advisory board (August 2013 – June 2018). He also served as a member of New York Presbyterian Hospital’s Planned Giving Advisory Council (December 2005 – July 2014) and volunteered at the University of Chicago Medical Center Field Hospital in Fond Parisien, Haiti (February 2010).

Mr. Schweitzer received a BA from Columbia College and a JD from Columbia Law School.

  • Coordinated zoning approval process for transfer of 136,000 SF of air rights from The University Club to 53 West 53rd Street.
  • Responsible for over $1.8 billion of transactions, including the partial sale of 666 Fifth Avenue in NYC and 55 East Monroe in Chicago.
  • Key member of team creating strategy and executing plan for $1.5 billion capital campaign and corresponding real estate development at New York Presbyterian Hospital which included:
    • Major expansion at Milstein Heart Hospital
    • 7.5 MW cogeneration plant at East 70th Street
    • 346 unit apartment building at 1330 First Avenue
